Monique Monae’ Davis was born on December 1, 1982. She was raised by her mother who single-handedly displayed the importance of hard work, dedication, and provision for both of her children.
Monique grew up in the heart of Miami, Florida (Opa-Locka to be exact) and has always possessed the innate ability to bring love, laughter, and spiritual growth to those around her by being transparent and honest. Beginning at an early age, she strived to the absolute best of her ability. She excelled greatly in Westview Elementary and Westview Middle school and then continued her education and graduated from the illustrious Miami Carol City Senior High in 2001, as the senior class president. In addition to pushing herself to greater heights immediately following high school, she attended the University of South Florida.
After many trials and errors, having to learn and endure the unforeseen obstacles and challenges of financial struggles and being a full-time student, Monique was academically dismissed from the university. With complete understanding of her many setbacks and hurdles, Monique knew the calling on her life would not be dismantled by her flaws. After many years of judgment, re-evaluation, and reflection, she reclaimed her confidence and continues to strive beyond her failures to restore all that was lost.
Monique is a growing, intellectual force of fierceness and charisma. She wears many hats as she is an amazing mother of two beautiful children, and describes motherhood as being, “the greatest, multitasking responsibility and blessing of all time”. She is also a proud military wife, married to her high school sweetheart of sixteen years.
She has held many positions of leadership and has used her personal platform and experiences to encourage and empower countless others, far beyond her resume.
She has always had a passion for literature and writing since the beginning of time. Now a published author of her first book, The Fearless Woman, Monique has chosen to use her gifts for a greater good. She strives to motivate others to tackle lasting life changes and to not only want and achieve their version of “ultimate success” but do the soul searching along their journey as well.
